icpss Executive Group Forwarding is a system for easy management of call forwarding for complete work groups. One button press at the telephone of any group member is all it takes to forward the telephones of all members to predefined target numbers.
Activation of the call forwarding is indicated by a lamp on the phone of each member. So everybody can immediately see whether the group forwarding has been activated before leaving, or been deactivated after the group has returned.
icpss Executive Group Forwarding is a server based web service. A web based GUI is used for administration of groups, group members, target numbers, and the buttons to be used on each phone.
- Individual configuration per group member, whether the lamp should be used for indication of activated forwarding.
- Specific member of a forwarding group can activate and deactivate the group forwarding without having their own telephone be forwarded. This allows the group secretary to manage the forwarding of all other group members, but still be available in the office.
Custom tailored design
Using icpss design packages, icpss Executive Group Forwarding can be tailored to meet the customer's design specifications. This makes it possible to unobtrusively integrate it into a corporate intranet, for example.
Besides its major user interface - the configured button on the telephone - all user-visible components of icpss Executive Group Forwarding are web-based, and run on any major browser, no matter what operating system you use.
The server-side backend is platform independent, running on Windows, Unix, Linux, or Mac OS X servers.
Phone system support
A CTI server is used to connect icpss with the phone system. Supported servers are the TeamCall Telephony Access Platform and CAP, the Common Application Platform by Siemens.
icpss supports the medium and large phone systems of the leading vendors.
