TeamCall Office Edition for Salesforce.com: telephony integration for Salesforce.com

The ilink TeamCall Office Edition for Salesforce.com adds telephony functions to the leading on-demand solution for Customer Relationship Management (CRM). With one-click dialing, phone numbers can be dialed directly from the Salesforce.com web interface using regular telephones and phone systems. Incoming calls are identified and the caller displayed as a screen pop based upon the Salesforce.com contact list.




Combining the CRM functions of Salesforce.com with the telephone capabilities of TeamCall Office Edition for Salesforce.com increases workforce productivity and agility while improving your company’s responsiveness to customers.

Salesforce.com users can now dial contacts quickly and efficiently using their familial interface, and their normal office telephone. The enabling technology of TeamCall Office Edition for Salesforce.com makes telephone numbers in the Salesforce.com interface directly dialable.

Incoming calls from Salesforce.com contacts cause the caller’s name and company affiliation to appear in a screen pop, a special tab attached to the Windows system tray. Clicking this tab opens the caller’s contact in a browser window, giving instant access to all the information needed. There's no time lost establishing a context for the call.

At the end of the call the tray tab opens again, allowing the user to create a new call memo using Salesforce.com’s “Log a Call” feature, preserving important information. This can also be activated directly at any time during a call by using the Salesforce.com function “Log a Call”.

Supported Systems

TeamCall Office Edition for Salesforce.com runs on Windows computers (Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server) with Internet Explorer version 6.0 or later, in combination with a TAPI-capable telephone or telephone system (PBX).

Thanks to this compatibility, users can now use their existing office or home telephone to enjoy the benefits of Salesforce.com’s telephone integration—without investing in new hardware.
